You could do it yourself, but if you want it to sound any good then it is a good idea to look at some local recording studios. They will do all the hard work for you, like mic'ing up your piano, engineering the sounds, mixing and mastering so that you can focus on playing your parts the best you can! Fame Awaits is an off-shoot of Chiswell Studios which specialises in giving undiscovered talent the star treatment. Founded by reputable journalist Michael Dias, Fame Awaits is a great opportunity to get yourself heard - they will do the rest for you.
Chad Lane Studios is located at Chad Farm, just to the north of St Albans at Junction 9 of the M1, and represents the best option for rehearsal space if you are able to travel. They offer a very competitive live recording package as well, which is a great option if you want to capture the live feel of your band/group/self without the usual headaches of traditional recording methods.
