Hello, My name is Sabrina Curpanen and I am a qualified professional piano teacher based in St Albans tutoring both classical and modern piano styles
I teach students of all ages and abilities and lessons are built around the individual’s preferences.
Whether you want to play simply for fun or if you want to take examinations, I tailor for your needs.
I believe the best way to learn to play is via the music you love and enjoy. I like to make sure my lessons are always as informative and enjoyable as possible for the learner & I intend to keep it this way.

Whatever your requirements, I have the lessons that will help you, your son or daughter, reach the next level on the piano. No prior knowledge or experience is needed as I teach a wide range of styles to students of all ages and abilities, via a range of methods including learning by ear, chord charts and traditional notation.
I usually teach all my students in the comfort of their own homes, enabling you to learn in a familiar environment and saving you the travel time.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
Check out the prices page for more information about the cost of lessons.Most of my pupils have a one hour lesson each week, with a few taking an hourly lesson once a fortnight, though the frequency of our lessons is totally up to you. For younger students a forty-five minute lessons each week usually work the best.

Lessons are charged at £25 per 1/2 of an hour and £45 per hour for all students.
I am a mobile piano teacher, so will travel to you to provide piano lessons in the comfort of your own home. I have found that students learn well within the comfort of their own homes, helping my pupils build confidence as well as vocal strength and ability.
I teach students of all ages & offer tuition in a wide range of styles and genres.
